Position and Department Summary:
As the RN II in the Operating Room, you will deliver nursing care in a skilled and effective manner. Apply appropriate decision-making skills and exhibit competency in the technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills to independently and safely care for patients. You will establish a plan of care, set goals, determine priorities, and provide care within established standards of practice.
- Operating Room specializes in four (4) areas: Spine, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS)
- Shared governance model to encourage staff engagement
- Six (6) OR Suites, 300 cases per month
In this role you will be responsible for:
- You will work in partnership with surgeons and anesthesiologists continuously and as needed regarding patient conditions
- You will participate in performance improvement activities
- Assess the operating room for equipment functioning and readiness
- Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all appropriate needs of the surgical operating team are met
- Monitor, position and assist patients during procedures
- Patient-centered care approach to help patients feel respected, involved and empowered.
12 Hour Day shifts
Educational Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Nursing, required
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred
License/Certification Requirements:
Current CA RN license
BLS through the American Heart Association
CNOR, preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience in Operating Room, required

The base pay range shown above takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
